An Idaho girl all her life, Jennifer DeNaughel was born Jennifer Carlson, in Burley in
1970. She grew up in Paul and now lives in Shoshone with her husband of twenty-two years, Lynn. She cares for her three
cats, Kanji, Koda and Kanaka and the world's greatest dog, Copper. She loves spending time with
her niece and nephew, Kayla and Keenan, they are the light of her life.
One
day Jennifer hopes to live on the Oregon Coast. Each time she visits,
she leaves a little more of her heart on the beautiful and breathtaking
shoreline, especially in Bandon-by-the-Sea, her home away from home. Her
love of the ocean and lighthouses inspired 'Face the Rain', her first
novel. It has always been her dream to be a writer and a photographer.
